Dress: Palm Leave Print Fit & Flare Dress ($13 from Shein)
Shoes: Soludos Canvas Platform Espadrilles
Bag: Celine Nano Luggage (Vermillion)
Sunglasses: SohoS Cateye Mirrored Sunglasses
I really like the print on this dress from Shein! The material is not so great but acceptable for $13. The dress also comes in 8 other pretty prints. I wish Shein could make these same dresses with better quality and just charge more.
The length of the dress is also very flattering on petite girls (I am 5′ 2″ for reference). Also this dress could be slightly more fitted, I purchased the small size and it is loose around the waist.
Time to share the pretty shoes on my wish list this year! My goal in 2017 is to buy more shoes that are comfortable (aka lower or no heels). I love high heels and will continue to buy them but I need to buy more shoes that I can walk around in all day. My “flawed” logic used to be that boots and high heels are more worth the money than flats which will wear out sooner. My “revised” logic is that good investment shoes are simply the ones that I wear often.
If there is one thing that YouTube or Instagram will make me buy, it will be the Chanel Espadrilles. I have been eyeing these espadrilles due to three reasons: they are supposed to be super comfortable, they elongate the legs like no other and they are a classic from Chanel. I especially love the two-tone leather Chanel Espadrilles, either the black-and-nude or the black-and-white. The holdback: $700+ price tag – until I can swallow that price tag, I will continue to buy more affordable options but the Chanel espadrilles are definitely on my wish list.
Aquazzura Spin Me Around Sandals
I have been obsession with Aquazzura shoes for the last six months and constantly keep an eye out for sales. I own two pairs of high heels from Aquazzura and will definitely be purchasing more – the Aquazzura Spin Me Around sandals are on the top of my list. I love the block heel, the simple strap across the toes and the gold straps around the ankles. Block heels are my favorite – they are comfortable and add a couple of inches. These sandals will go with many outfits and I will definitely wear them a lot. Hopefully I can find them on sale soon!
Louboutin Pigalle 100mm
The original Louboutin Pigalle in 100mm are so hard to find (especially in size 35.5)! Most retailers only carry Pigalle Follies and So Kate pumps. The Follies have an even narrower toe box and I can’t walk in So Kate’s 120mm heel. So my hunt for the Louboutin Pigalle 100mm in either nude or black patent continues. I actually find the Pigalle in 100mm to be somewhat comfortable!
Nicholas Kirkwood Beya Flats
My latest obsession is the Nicholas Kirkwood Beya flats. These flats come in so many stunning colors but my heart is set on the blush pair. I love three things about this flat. One, the leg-lengthening effect of the pointed toe design. Two, the cut of the heel with the gold accent; it makes the heel more unique and feminine. Three, the leather is incredible! Heck, I even like the two large stitches on the front part of the shoe for some reason. There are a lot of dupes for these flats – one of them is the Me Too Audra Loafer flats. I ordered the Audra Loafer flats in size 6 but they were way too big, I would need to get a 5 but the smallest size I’ve seen is 5.5. If you are interested in the Nicholas Kirkwood Beya flats but you don’t want to pay $425, then check out the Me Too Audra Loafers – they are well made and comfortable!
Charlotte Olympia Kitty Loafers
I’ve liked the Charlotte Olympia Kitty flats for a while but because my old logic that expensive flats are not worth it – I never allowed myself to add these to my wish list. I recently found a block heel version of the Kitty Loafers which is makes the shoe more “worth it” now for me. The block heel version is not as popular as the flats but a great alternative for girls who are interested in a slightly higher heel!
Summer is just around the corner, that means spending hours online browsing for the perfect swimsuits! I am sharing 10 fun and must-have swimsuit trends in this post! Even though I consider these must-haves, you definitely shouldn’t buy these all at once, maybe add a couple a year – swimsuits are surprisingly pricey, cost-per-inch wise!
Becca Siren One-Piece // Ted Baker London Plunge One-Piece // ASOS Layered Palm Plunge Hater Swimsuit
Plunging Necklines – First are the plunging neckline swimsuits – something I hope to add to my collection this year. There is something so sexy and feminine about a one-piece with a plunging neckline. My favorite is the Becca Siren swimsuit (first seen on ExtraPetite), I love the details on this swimsuit and need the white or black in xs to come back in stock!
Triangl Poppy – Sea Spritz // Klini Ro Bikini // Ted Baker London Ruffle One-Piece
Bright Colors – Swimsuit is definitely a clothing item where bright and neon colors are appropriate and even welcomed! I definitely can’t mention bright color swimsuits without including Triangl – one of my favorite swimsuit brands (see my review of the Triangl Milly in Las Vegas Lights here)! A bright yellow swimsuit is also a must-have in my opinion!
Playful Promises Scallop Edge Swimsuit // Marysia Swim Antibes Bikini // Marysia Scalloped Halter Bikini
Scalloped Swimsuit – Scalloped designs don’t need any introduction and are definitely a must-have. Scalloped edges add a touch of playfulness and cuteness to any swimsuit. I love Marysia’s Antibes bikini in red and also Marysia’s halter bikini with the high-waist bottom!
ASOS Clean Cross Back Mono Strip Swimsuit // FELLA Dylan Bikini // Solid & Striped Willow Colorblock One-Piece
Striped Swimsuits – Anything striped is classic and a striped swimsuit is definitely a must-have! I especially love striped swimsuits that have interesting designs or stripes that go in different directions, it just makes the simple design a little more fun!
Forever 21 Crochet Bikini // Ale by Alessandra Crochet in Rainbow // My Crochet One-Piece Swimsuit
Crochet Swimsuits – For some reason a crochet swimsuit to me is the epitome of summer. The crochet material gives swimsuits a more casual and effortless feel – the perfect and exact vibe you want for summer!
